Include Your Beloved Dead from Afar

Please share the name(s) of the beloved dead you wish to add to the Community Altars. How were they connected or important to you? Is there a story about them that you wish to share? Write whatever you feel called to. You may include a photograph, poem, prayer, message for them, representational item (toy, sheet music, pressed flower, rock, drawing, etc.). Names are typically added to the Tree of Life altar and a candle is lit on the Dia de los Muertos ofrenda on your behalf. If you prefer to have the name added to the ofrenda instead of the Tree, please notify me. All other items are added to the Dia de los Muertos ofrenda.

Items sent will not be returned. You are free to retrieve them yourself, before the closing of the ofrenda (see Events calendar for dates). Anything not collected before the closing will be burned in the ceremonial fire. Items not appropriate for burning will be blessed and respectfully donated or disposed of.

Items may be mailed via USPS or other carrier or sent digitally via email.

Please include your name and contact (email or text) if you wish to receive a photograph of your item included on the Dia de los Muertos ofrenda or Tree of Life altar.
